CATS

Garden Grove is a cat-friendly community. We allow up to two cats maximum per apartment. Cats must be spayed or neutered and their shots up to date. Vet records will be requested.
Fees due upon move-in:

$200 pet deposit
$100 non-refundable fee per cat
$15 pet rent per cat per month

DOGS

Garden Grove is a dog-friendly community. We allow up to two pets per apartment, with no weight limit. Dogs must be spayed or neutered and shots up to date. Vet records may be requested.

Fees due upon move-in:
$200 pet deposit
$200 non-refundable fee/dog
$40 pet rent/dog/month

Breed restrictions (mixed breed or full) include Akita, Belgian Sheepdog, Belgian Tervuren, Bouvier Tervuren, Bouvier Des Flandres, Belgian Malinois, Cane Corso, Chow Chow, Dalmatian, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Giant Schnauzer, Irish Water Spaniel, Komondor, Pit Bull (or variation including or aka American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier), Presa Canario, Rottweiler. We reserve the right to refuse any dog based on temperament, behavior, or appearance, regardless of breed.

Other small or caged animals are welcome. We allow a maximum of three (3) pets in your home, with no more than two being cats. For pets other than a cat, one habitat (i.e., cage, aquarium) counts as one pet.

BIRDS

Finches, canaries, parakeets, cockatiels and other parrots are allowed, with the exception of all cockatoos (common species names are Umbrella, Goffin & Moluccan) and large macaws (common species names are Blue & Gold, Green Wing, Scarlet). No other birds will be allowed.  

FISH

Fish are permitted in tanks on upper floor apartments that are no larger than one 30- gallon aquarium or the equivalent. The tank must be secure. Tanks that are 31-55 gallons are allowed on first floor apartments only. Owners of a 31-55 gallon fish tank must also provide proof of renter's insurance.

CAGED ANIMALS

Small to medium (less than 36 inches) cages are allowed for hamsters, gerbils, etc., and the cage must be secure. Rabbits are allowed as long as they are litter box trained.  

REPTILES

Non-venomous reptiles (lizards, iguanas, etc.) are allowed. Reptiles not allowed include: Large Constrictors, Pythons, Boa Constrictors, Anacondas, Large Snakes Etc.


Ferrets, minks, large snakes, poisonous spiders, etc. are not allowed.

We welcome service and emotional support animals in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.
